About me and my work

My artistic practice spans acting, writing, directing, devising and leading workshops.

My acting work includes:

Moliere’s George Dandin, directed by Phillip Osmond, the short film Welcome Stop, directed by Michael Achtman, and my solo showFat which I wrote and performed in.

I have taken Fat on tour, including Edinburgh Festival 2012. The workshops I have devised and delivered are: the Orpheus Centre, DIY8 (Live Art Development Agency), the Unicorn Theatre and I have facilitated for Graeae at a school for children with learning difficulties.

I have designed and delivered performance workshops for people with alternative forms of communication.

Supported by the Arts Council England, the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School of Music & Drama.I directed the development week for a young artist and writer.

I was awarded an Unlimited commission, to develop a new piece of work exploring the sensitive issues and themes of rape and sexual abuse, and the depression and psychological impact on a person’s mental health.

I hope to continue this work in the coming year.
