About me and my work
I am a writer, performance artist and workshop facilitator. I began my career as an artist on Graeae Theatre’s Missing Piece 4 actor training programme.
My first professional job as an actor was the London tour of Moliere’s George Dandin, directed by Philip Osman. I have also appeared in an independent short film called Welcome Stop by Michael Achtman.
I have written and perform in my own one-man show called Fat.
Fat has been performed at the Oval House Theatre in May 2009. In 2010 I took Fat on a small national tour, and I received a DaDaFest Best Emerging Artist 2010 Award.
Also I’m taking Fat to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2012. You can book tickets here. I will then take it to The Lakeside Theatre in Essex on 18 and 19 October 2012.
As an artist with Cerebral Palsy, which includes a differing speech pattern, I don’t wish to be defined by my disability, but rather from my abilities that have arisen from my situation.
Most importantly for me is the work I create or stimulate with other artists in my workshops.
